New Release
Adoption of Savanna-la-mar Primary School
The Savanna-la-mar Primary School, the Dream to Reality (DTR) Foundation, Dequity Capital Management Ltd, and the National Education Trust (NET), signed a memorandum of understanding under the Adopt-A-School Programme on July 28, 2022. The memorandum is an agreement between all the parties that show their willingness to move forward with the initiative for the DTR Foundation and Dequity to adopt the Savanna-la-mar Primary School. This will be the first adoption in the program in Jamaica. Donation to this project is ongoing.
Partnership with Savanna La Mar Public General Hospital
The Foundation is working with the CEO (Camile Lewin) of the Savanna La Mar Hospital and associated health centers in the Parish of Westmoreland to help provide equipment and supplies that are needed to keep patients alive and healthy. The foundation has done several projects at the Savanna la mar Public General Hospital and have donated over JA$1Million in funds to support various projects. The Hospital is under-resourced and many of these items are basic healthcare supplies one would expect any hospital to have, such as gloves, syringes, and gauze. We also provide funding for the construction of a healing garden at the front of the Hospital. The Children’s Ward is also in dire need of renovation.

Westmoreland FA Under 13/14 Development Soccer League
DTR Foundation are the proud sponsor of the Westmoreland Football Association’s DTR Foundation Under 13 and14 Development League in the Parish. The foundation donates an average of JA$500,000 to the league which is a combination of funds, equipment, and trophies. DTR Foundation are always proud to sponsor youth football tournaments because these sporting platforms provide valuable outlets for the youths in the underserved communities in the parish. The foundation sees these tournaments as important means of diverting the young men from criminal activities.
Manning’s High School
The DTR Foundation is a very key partner to one of the premier high schools in the country. We support the school in many capacities on a yearly basis; donations to the soccer and other sports team, scholarships for students, special projects for the school, supply of school supplies for students, purchasing uniforms, and paying various examination fees for students.
Back-to-School Drive
DTR Foundation conducts yearly back to school giveaways in various communities in Westmoreland. The giveaways include school bags, writing books, folders, pencil cases, erasers, water bottles, pens, and pencils. Some of the effort is donating money existing foundations who are doing similar work in other communities, such as Botswana Foundation.
Christmas Gifting
The DTR Foundation plays Santa Claus for the children and staff of the Savanna La Mar Public General hospital. We donate toys to all the children who spend their holiday in the hospital. We also donate money and toys to the staff; the toys are gifted to the children of the staff.

Scholarships
The Foundation also contributes to the uplifting of the community by giving scholarships to students from low-income families. We provide a US$2000 scholarship to individuals who excel in sports, as well as education. Scholarship recipients are nominated by the soccer coaches, and then selected by the executive members of the Foundation. We need your help to provide additional scholarships to these deserving students. Many recipients rely on these funds to complete their secondary education.
